Niko Paavola

Niko Paavola has extensive experience in procurement, currently serving as the Head of Technical Services Categories at Neste since October 2022. Niko has held various interim leadership roles within the procurement division, including overseeing the North Europe Region and Materials and Equipment Categories. Prior to this, Niko worked at Neste Engineering Solutions Oy as a Category Lead and TA Procurement Lead from November 2017 to October 2022. Niko's career in procurement began at Neste from January 2013 to October 2017, progressing from Purchaser to Lead Purchaser while leading a team focused on equipment and materials. Niko's experience also includes working as a Purchaser at Wärtsilä, specializing in engine spare parts. Niko holds a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Vaasa and a Bachelor's degree in Production and Mechanical Engineering from Vaasan ammattikorkeakoulu VAMK University of Applied Sciences.
