Matti Laakso

Matti Laakso has over 30 years of experience in the fields of business development and engineering, primarily within the energy sector. Since joining Neste in October 2007, Matti Laakso has held several key positions, including Business Development Manager for the Renewable Platform, Head of Competence Center, and Vice President of Business Development in both Production and Logistics and Oil Refining. Prior to this, Matti Laakso worked at Fortum Oil and Gas from June 1996 to September 2007 as a Department Manager and Plant Manager, and earlier at Neste Engineering from September 1990 to May 1996 as a Process Design Engineer. Matti Laakso earned a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan between 1986 and 1990.
