Tuula Lehtimaa

Tuula Lehtimaa is an accomplished Development Manager at Neste since June 2016, with a focus on steering a project portfolio related to renewable diesel production and technology development. Previous roles include R&D Manager, NEXBTL Development, and Senior Process Design Engineer at Neste Jacobs, where project management and technology development were key responsibilities. Tuula has also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, where responsibilities included course preparation and lecturing on biorefineries. Additionally, experience as a Research Scientist at TKK involved preparing a Doctoral Thesis on chlorine dioxide bleaching. Educational qualifications include a D.Sc in Forest Products Chemistry from Aalto University, an M.Sc in Forest Products Chemistry from TKK, and a B.Eng in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
