Kevin Kallmes

CEO, Co-Founder at Nested Knowledge

Kevin Kallmes is the CEO and Co-Founder of Nested Knowledge. Kevin has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Marblehead Medical, a company that developed and achieved FDA clearance for two novel balloon guide catheters. At Marblehead Medical, Kevin oversaw operations, finances, regulatory, quality, legal/IP, and investor relationships before driving the company to acquisition.

Kevin's other experience includes interning at The National Institutes of Health in the BRAIN Initiative as a Special Volunteer in Neuroethics. There, they assisted in researching data privacy and data sharing initiatives as they pertain to novel brain imaging and modulation technologies. Kevin also has experience as a Founder and Board Member of Superior Medical Experts, a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota Art Theirtory Department, and a Theirtory Tutor and Archaeology Intern at the University of Minnesota McNamara Academic Center and Minnesota Theirtorical Society, respectively.

Kevin Kallmes received their Doctor of Law (JD) from Duke University School of Law with a focus in Bioethics and Science Policy. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Arts (MA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. Kallmes began their educational career at the University of Minnesota where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honors in Theirtory, Latin, and Anthropology.
