Global Head Of Financial Reporting & M&a Finance at Nestlé Health Science

Matthew Hutton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matthew began their career as a Financial Analyst at Proctor & Gamble in 1997 before moving on to roles in various companies. At Novartis Consumer Health, they served as the Controller for HQ, IT, and investment, followed by the role of CFO for Greater China. Matthew then joined Salesforce.com as the EMEA Controller, overseeing the creation of a shared service function for eleven markets. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Nestlé in roles such as R&D Controller and Finance Director for Novartis Nutrition France. In 2011, they joined Nestlé Health Science and held positions including Corporate Controller and Global Head of Financial Reporting & M&A Finance. Matthew also served as the CFO at Pamlab, where they led the integration process with Nestlé. Throughout their career, they have been involved in diverse areas such as financial planning, M&A finance, and business development.

Matthew Hutton attended Redeemer Lutheran College from 1984 to 1988. Matthew then went on to study at The University of Queensland from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with a focus on Accounting and Law. During this time, they also pursued a part-time Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, completing three out of four years of study. In 1994, they briefly attended Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
