Lindiwe Majele Sibanda

Lindiwe Majele Sibanda is the current director at Nestlé. Lindiwe has also previously served as the Vice President - Country Support , Policy and Partnerships for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) from July 2017 to September 2018. Prior to that, they were the Head of Mission and Chief Executive Officer for the Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network (FANRPAN) from February 2004 to June 2017.

Some key achievements during their time at FANRPAN include signing investment agreements with various countries totaling 10% of their national budgets to be put towards improving agricultural productivity. Lindiwe also helped demystify policy development by making it more accessible to rural farmers and introducing policy performance monitoring tools.

Dr. Lindiwe Majele Sibanda has a PhD in Agriculture from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. Lindiwe also has a Masters of Science in Agriculture from the University of Reading. Lindiwe received their BSc Agricultural Sciences, Animal Production degree with Excellent with Honours from Alexandria University.
