Maria Uzunova

Maria Uzunova is an experienced professional in regulatory and scientific affairs, currently serving as the Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Manager at Nestlé's Product Technology Center Coffee since December 2018. Prior roles include Global Nutrition, Regulatory & External Affairs at Cereal Partners Worldwide and various positions at Nestlé, where Maria focused on nutrition health and wellness initiatives, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement in the European context. With a strong background in both food and pharmaceutical sectors, Maria has managed compliance with local and EU legislation, developed key regulatory strategies, and led impactful health initiatives such as "Healthy Kids in Bulgaria." Educational qualifications include a Master in Public Health and a degree in Chemistry Engineering, complemented by leadership training from the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria.
