Robert Zimmerman

Robert Zimmerman has an extensive work history in the field of software engineering. Robert is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Nestment since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Tesla as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2020 to November 2021. Before joining Tesla, Robert worked at enwoven as a Senior Software Development Engineer from July 2015 to November 2020, where they developed and maintained both the frontend and backend of the application using PHP, Laravel, and React. Robert also handled server configurations and deployment in an AWS environment.

From March 2014 to April 2015, Robert worked as a Software Engineer at mGage LLC, where they developed a RestAPI platform that integrated with WeChat and built an Over-The-Top (OTT) platform using Java. Prior to that, they were employed at Velti from June 2010 to February 2014 as a Web Engineer and Lead Engineer, where they worked on various projects such as Visualize - Data Analytics Platform for Mobile Advertising and mGage Video - Media CMS Tool.

Before their time at Velti, Robert served as a Web Engineer at Mobile Greetings, Inc. from August 2008 to June 2010, where they worked on media conversion projects using Drupal's content management system and created applications for Verizon's Store Apps.

Robert's professional journey began at Fiserv Insurance Solutions in 2005, where they worked in Quality Insurance.

Robert Zimmerman obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from California State University - East Bay between 2003 and 2005.
