Rob Fowler is an advisor at Net Purpose. Rob has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including roles at TelstraSuper, BT Funds Management, HESTA Super Fund, Portfolio Partners Funds Management, Suncorp Investment Management, and Macquarie Bank.

Rob Fowler began their career in 1981 as an auditor at Ernst & Whinney. Rob then transitioned to Gippsland University, where they worked as a lecturer in financial accounting from 1984 to 1986. In 1986, they began working in insolvency and reconstruction at Touche Ross.

In 1987, Fowler began their role at Macquarie Bank as an Australian equities institutional dealer. Rob then became the Australian equities portfolio manager at Suncorp Investment Management from 1993 to 1996. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as the institutional business development manager at BT Funds Management.

Fowler began their role at Portfolio Partners Funds Management as an investment specialist in 2001 and worked there until 2003. Rob then joined HESTA Super Fund, where they served as the executive manager of investments and governance from 2004 to 2013 and chief investment officer from 2013 to 2017. In 2019, Fowler joined Net Purpose as an advisor.

Rob Fowler's educational career began with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from the University of Ballarat, followed by a professional year as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Whinney. Rob then went on to complete the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program with the CFA Institute.
