Ido Raanan

Ido Raanan possesses extensive experience in sustainability and engineering within the irrigation sector, currently serving as the Global Circularity (ReGen) and Machinery Products Manager at Netafim since 1998. In this role, Ido focuses on implementing sustainable drip irrigation solutions and leads the company's global sustainability processes to ensure product compatibility with circular economy principles. Prior positions include R&D Engineer, where Ido combined corporate responsibility with technology to promote sustainable solutions, and Extrusion Engineer, responsible for improvements in dripline production. Additionally, Ido leads a collaborative initiative for sustainable plastic use in irrigation as the Plastic in Irrigation Group Lead at the European Irrigation Association. Ido previously managed community operations at Kibbutz Hatzerim, overseeing a $30 million budget. Ido holds an MBA and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
