David Cooper

David Cooper is an experienced sports management professional with a career spanning over two decades. Since May 2016, David has served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Commercial at Netball New Zealand. Additionally, David is currently a Board Member at Windross Farm Golf Course and has previously held board positions at Auckland Golf Inc. from January 2016 to November 2019. In the realm of cricket, David was the GM Domestic Cricket at New Zealand Cricket from January 2013 to May 2016 and served as Chief Executive at the Northern Districts Cricket Association from May 2004 to February 2013. David's early career includes roles such as Amateur Rugby Manager at Waikato Rugby Union and Programme Manager at Sport Wanganui. David holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Sports Management and Coaching from Massey University and has completed education at the University of Canterbury and Wanganui Collegiate School.
