Leonardo Taccari

Leonardo Taccari is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of computing and automation engineering. Currently serving as the Director at NetBSD since August 2015, Leonardo is a board member of The NetBSD Foundation, overseeing its legal and operational functions. As a developer, Leonardo maintains various pkgsrc packages and is involved in multiple teams related to pkgsrc. Leonardo participated in the Google Summer of Code in 2016 and 2017, focusing on the advancement of pkgsrc features. Additionally, Leonardo held roles as a Cloud Architect and Junior DevOps at faire.ai from September 2020 to October 2024, and has contributed as a trainer for CyberChallenge.IT at Università Politecnica delle Marche from 2021 to 2023, coauthoring lessons on critical security topics. Leonardo holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computing and Automation Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche, with studies ongoing since 2014.
