David Leclerc has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. David started their career as a Research Intern in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics at Université de Sherbrooke, where they conducted benchmarking, documentation, and data analysis using Python and Bash scripts. David then worked as a Research Intern in Atmospheric Science at Dalhousie University, contributing to research projects in the field. At TU Dresden, David served as a Research Assistant in Systems Neuroscience, supporting experimental research efforts.

In 2016, David joined mgo360 as a Full Stack Engineer. David then co-founded and served as the CTO of GoSitter, a platform that facilitates instant booking of vetted babysitters through advanced features and algorithms.

In 2019, David joined IXIASOFT as a Full Stack Engineer, where they developed features for a centralized web app using React, Redux, TypeScript, Java, and Maven. David also conducted testing and implemented CI/CD pipelines.

Currently, David is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Netcetera - Software matters, where they are a part of the Digital Enterprise division. David contributes to a product that helps local news editors bring their content online effectively. Their responsibilities include feature implementation, deployment, and maintenance using technologies such as NodeJS, ExpressJS, JavaScript, SCSS, and Nunjucks. David also participates in agile development using the SCRUM methodology.
