Vasil Dedejski

Vasil Dedejski has a background in machine learning and data science. Vasil started their professional career as a Machine Learning Research Intern at the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, where they focused on human activity recognition. During this role, they conducted research on the subject and analyzed published papers for vital information.

Afterward, Vasil worked as a Data Science Intern at Netcetera - Software matters. In this position, they built, implemented, evaluated, and optimized machine learning models for time series problems, particularly air pollution forecasting. Vasil also developed a temporal fusion transformer model using PyTorch Forecasting and worked on data preprocessing and feature engineering.

Currently, Vasil is employed at Netcetera - Software matters as a Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, they utilize state-of-the-art machine learning approaches and techniques to develop cutting-edge software solutions and digital products in various fields such as payment, banking, and healthcare. Vasil'sresponsibilities include research and development on various projects and devising machine learning solutions to problem statements.

Vasil Dedejski pursued their education at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering - Skopje from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Vasil also completed a certification course titled "Sequences, Time Series and Prediction" offered by Coursera, in November 2021.
