Yiannos Contrafouris

Yiannos Contrafouris has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Yiannos is currently working as a Visiting Lecturer at ACT - American College of Thessaloniki since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Communication Services Director & Sustainability/CSR and Marketing Communications Director at Netcompany-Intrasoft from 2022. Yiannos held multiple roles at INTRASOFT International, including Director of Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility (2018-present), Director of SCOPE Communications and Corporate Marketing Director (2018-2022), Group Manager of Corporate Communications and Marketing (2015-2018), Senior Manager (2015-2018), and Business Development Manager (2004-2015). Yiannos also worked as a Team Leader at Thomson Reuters from 2001 to 2004 and as a Senior Editor at Current Drugs Ltd from 1998 to 2000. Yiannos started their career as an Administration intern at ORIGINA in 1996.

Yiannos Contrafouris has a PhD in Business Management from Birkbeck, University of London, which was obtained from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed an MSc in Pharmaceutical Biotecnology from the University of Kent from 1997 to 1998. Yiannos also holds a High School Diploma from Doukas, obtained from 1990 to 1993.
