Ajo

Ajo has over a decade of experience in data engineering and visualization, beginning as a Team Lead at Google from April 2007 to April 2009. Ajo founded BigDataLabs Inc. and served as CEO from September 2006 to June 2011, developing a business intelligence consulting service and a geospatial visualization product, Geodash. Ajo later joined Netflix from November 2011 to November 2013, holding roles such as Senior Data Visualization Engineer, Manager of Big Data Apps, and Data UI/UX/Usability Architect. Ajo founded Vero Analytics in November 2013, leading as CEO until September 2018, successfully raising funds and building a distributed engineering team while creating a highly-regarded SQL IDE for data professionals. Ajo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, obtained in January 2003.
