John D. is a seasoned professional in the field of voice direction and theatrical production, having served as a Voice Director and Loop Group Coordinator at The Looping Group from 1998 to 2019. With a rich history as an award-winning Stage Director, John directed over 40 theatrical productions in Los Angeles between 1996 and 2019. John also held the position of Professor of Theatre Practice at the University of Southern California from 2012 to 2022, where they designed curriculum and received the William C. White Faculty Recognition Award twice. Currently, John is the Senior Manager of English Dubbing Language Production at Netflix, overseeing English language dubs for various international films and TV series. John is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at The A.C.T. Conservatory and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and English from Yale University.
