Karen Williams

Karen Williams is a seasoned visual creative professional with extensive experience in photography and art direction. As the Visual Creative Director and Photo Director at Black Visual Queen since 2008, Karen has been instrumental in developing in-house creative capabilities for photo and video production. Karen's recent roles include working as a Stills Curation Specialist at Netflix and as a Photo Producer at PRO Unlimited onsite at Apple, where collaboration with creative teams was pivotal in producing feature stories. Previous experiences encompass photo editing and directing roles at Barron's, MasterClass, Square, Callisto Media, Airbnb, San Francisco Magazine, and AARP, showcasing a strong ability to manage projects from concept to execution. Karen holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from St. Edward's University.
