Marie Godenir

Marie Godenir is the Tax Director for the APAC region at Netflix. Marie has over 15 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on international taxation.

Marie began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in October 2003, working in the International Tax Department in Johannesburg, South Africa. In July 2011, they transferred to the Singapore office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as a Manager in the International Tax Department until August 2012.

In September 2012, Marie joined EMAS CHIYODA Subsea Group as their Senior Tax Manager. Marie was responsible for leading the tax department of the joint venture between Ezra Holdings Limited (Singapore) and the Chiyoda Corporation (Japan). Marie remained in this position until October 2017.

Marie joined Netflix in November 2017 as their Tax Director for the APAC region. In this role, they are responsible for managing all tax matters for Netflix in the Asia-Pacific region.

Marie Godenir studied at Ichec Brussels Management School, where they obtained a Master's degree in Tax. Marie then participated in an exchange program at the National University of Singapore for six months. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Management from the Université catholique de Louvain.
