Martin Mitev

Martin Mitev is an experienced professional in the field of benefits and human resources, currently serving as the EMEA Benefits Lead at Netflix since November 2023. Prior to this role, Martin took a sabbatical for family and community time after a significant tenure at Johnson & Johnson as the EMEA Regional Benefits Leader from August 2018 to August 2023. In that capacity, responsibilities included leading the design and strategy of benefit programs across 45+ countries, collaborating on global initiatives, and managing the Total Rewards strategy. Martin's earlier experience includes roles as Benefits Manager at LyondellBasell and as an International Benefits Consultant and Actuary at Mercer, where expertise encompassed complex benefit programs, vendor management, and actuarial analyses. Educational qualifications include HR-related certificates from Cornell University and an actuarial degree from the US Society of Actuaries, alongside a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Austin College.
