Nishan Perera

Nishan Perera has extensive experience in content finance and accounting, having held prominent positions at notable companies in the entertainment industry. At Netflix, from December 2017 to January 2023, Nishan served as Director of Content Finance Controllership Transformation and Director of Content Accounting, managing accounting for Original Films, Original Animation, Music, and Consumer Products. Prior to Netflix, Nishan was a Senior Content Accounting Manager at The Walt Disney Studios from September 2010 to December 2013 and worked as a Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Nishan began a career at The Walt Disney Company as an Undergraduate Associate from May 2007 to July 2009. Nishan holds a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Finance from the University of Southern California, earned between January 2005 and January 2009.
