Puneet Zaroo

Puneet Zaroo is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on data platforms and distributed systems. Currently serving as the Engineering Lead for the Data Platform at Netflix since June 2017, Puneet is instrumental in leading various initiatives. Previously, Puneet was a Founding Engineer at ZeroStack from October 2014 to May 2017, where contributions included the design and development of the distributed components of the Zerostack Cloud Operating System. Prior experience at VMware from June 2004 to October 2014 involved working on infrastructure projects, enhancing operating systems, and managing large-scale distributed systems. An early career internship was completed in 2003 at Network Appliance in the kernel engineering group. Puneet holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
