Wendell Younkins

Wendell Younkins is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in content finance controllership and strategic financial management. Currently serving as the Head of Content Finance Controllership at Netflix since January 2024, Younkins previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at JKBX from March 2023 to January 2024. Prior to this, Younkins was the Chief Accounting Officer at VideoAmp from June 2021 to March 2023. A significant part of Younkins' career includes leadership roles at NBC Universal from April 2009 to June 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing financial reporting and controllership functions, as well as serving as Vice President for Geneon Universal Entertainment. Younkins also held CFO roles at General Electric and Universal Pictures, demonstrating expertise in financial analysis, treasury, and business development. Younkins earned a BS in Accounting and Finance from DePaul University.
