Ye Zhang

Ye Zhang has a diverse work experience, primarily in engineering and management roles. Ye began their career at DIRECTV Broadband Inc as a Software Architect/Manager, where they managed the service provisioning team and designed and developed applications for network nodes. In 2003, they joined NETGEAR, initially serving as a Sr. Engineering Product Manager, where they led the development effort for router usability and managed the development cycle of various home products. Ye then progressed to roles such as Group Manager and Sr. Group Manager, Usability Engineering, where they were responsible for improving user experience through the design and implementation of GUI/Software Features/Applications/Mobile Apps. Later, they became the Director of Engineering, Smart Network, managing teams and overseeing the development of Smart Network and NETGEAR genie desktop and mobile apps. Ye then advanced to the position of Senior Director of Engineering and currently holds the title of VP of Engineering at NETGEAR.

Ye Zhang earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, completing the program from 1996 to 1998.
