Flavio Hafner

Flavio Hafner is a Research Software Engineer at the Netherlands eScience Center since November 2022, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Aalto University from September 2020 to October 2022. Flavio's early career includes roles as a Summer Analyst at Citi in 2013 and an Intern Analyst at UBS Wealth Management from August 2012 to January 2013, as well as military service as a Platoon Commander in the Swiss Army from June 2008 to July 2009. Flavio holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where studies were conducted from September 2015 to November 2020, and possesses multiple degrees in Economics including a Master of Research from the same institution and a Master of Arts from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
