Michiel Akeroyd

Michiel Akeroyd has extensive experience in scientific roles, currently serving as a Senior Wetenschappelijk Medewerker at the Nederlands Forensisch Instituut since January 2021. Prior to this position, Michiel held various roles at DSM from March 2005 to January 2021, progressing from Senior Scientist to Assistant Scientist. Earlier experience includes a position as a Student at the Netherlands Proteomics Centre and education at Utrecht University, where Michiel earned a Drs degree in Chemistry with a focus on Proteomics from 1998 to 2005. Michiel completed secondary education at Bonifatius College, achieving a VWO degree, and attended Laurensschool for primary education.
