Miranda van der Veen-Cozijnsen

Miranda van der Veen-Cozijnsen is an experienced professional in the field of biology and research, currently serving as the Coordinator of Animal Facilities at the Nederlands Herseninstituut since September 2022. With a career spanning over two decades, Miranda has held various roles including Senior Biotechnician and Team Leader at Amsterdam UMC, and has been involved in leadership positions within professional associations such as the Biotechnische Vereniging. Previous experience includes research technician roles at renowned institutions such as Antoni van Leeuwenhoek and the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, as well as a significant tenure at Danone Research as a Senior Assistant Scientist. Miranda holds a degree in biology from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
