Benson Chiu

Benson Chiu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Benson most recently worked at NETS, starting in 2020, where they held the positions of Security Operations Senior Engineer and Security Operations Engineer. Prior to that, they were employed at MUFG from 2018 to 2020 as a Security Operations Analyst. In 2017, Benson worked at Aviva Asia as a Desktop Support Engineer. In 2014, they completed a student internship at Sentosa Development Corporation, where they served as an Application Development Officer, creating applications using SharePoint for internal company use. Benson also has experience as a waiter at Hanis Cafe from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they completed student internships at HiSoft (Singapore) Pte Ltd in 2011 as a Tester, responsible for testing printer quality and documenting software and hardware issues, and at AsiaPac Distribution Pte Ltd in 2009 as a Technician and Sales Officer, responsible for repairing Fujitsu laptops and handling logistics and sales duties.

Benson Chiu's education history begins in 2008 when they attended ITE College East and obtained a Nitec degree in Info-Communications Technology. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Higher Nitec degree in Business Information System at the same institution. In 2012, they enrolled at Republic Polytechnic and completed a Diploma in Business Information System, which they obtained in 2015. From 2016 to 2018, Benson attended Murdoch University and received a degree in Cyber Forensic, Information Security & Management & Business Information System, specializing in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Benson Chiu has acquired additional certifications. In October 2020, they obtained a certification in "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals" from LinkedIn. Benson also holds a "Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)" certification from EC-Council, which they obtained in July 2020.
