Sanjay Munshi

Sanjay Munshi has over 20 years of experience in the networking industry. Sanjay has held various senior roles in companies such as NETSCOUT, Brocade, Extreme Networks, Nortel, Bay Networks, and Digital Equipment Corporation.

In their most recent role as Vice President of Products at NETSCOUT, Sanjay was responsible for product management of network and application performance, security analytics, and DDOS software. Sanjay led the development of products that enabled Fortune 1000 Enterprise ITOPS/AIOPS/SECOPS and Tier 1 4G/5G operators to manage, monitor, deploy, and secure their applications and infrastructure in a hybrid cloud model.

Prior to that, at Brocade, Sanjay served as Senior Director of the Network Visibility and Analytics Business Unit. Sanjay was responsible for product management, product marketing, and technical marketing functions. Sanjay played a key role in defining the vision, strategy, and execution plans for big data analytics software solutions in the data centers of mobile and cloud operators. Before that, they held responsibility for product management of data center switching and routing solutions for enterprises and service providers.

As Director of Product Management at Extreme Networks, Sanjay oversaw the service provider product portfolio and P&L. Sanjay was responsible for high-end switching platforms. Sanjay also held product management positions at Nortel, where they managed the Passport 8600 portfolio and solutions, and Bay Networks, where they were an engineering manager and ASIC design manager.

Sanjay began their career at Digital Equipment Corporation as a Principal Engineer, where they were involved in the development of FPGA, ASICs, and products for IP switching and routing. Sanjay led the design and development of a 10G network processor.

Throughout their career, Sanjay has demonstrated expertise in product management, marketing, technical leadership, and team management in the networking industry.

Sanjay Munshi obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University. The duration of their studies and any previous education information were not provided.
