Hesnu Utoro

Hesnu Utoro has over 20 years of experience in the field of network engineering and IT. Their most recent position was as a Network Engineer at Netskrt Systems Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering and IT Specialist at Star Solutions International Inc. from 2015 to 2022.

Before their role at Star Solutions International Inc., Hesnu served as a Principal and Senior Network Consultant at NETSamurai Canada Inc. from 2012 to 2017. During this time, they provided consulting services to technology companies in Canada and the USA, focusing on IP Internetworking, Wireless Infrastructure, and Systems Integration.

Hesnu also worked as a Network Consultant at TruMobility, Inc. from 2011 to 2017, where they provided network consultancy for mobile wireless IP infrastructure. Hesnu worked on core IP network infrastructure for private cellular network operation, including L2/L3 backbone switches, routers, servers, firewalls, and VPN.

In addition, Hesnu has experience as a Network and Wireless Consultant at BC Hydro from 2014 to 2015. Hesnu also worked as a Wireless Engineer at Huawei Technologies from 2011 to 2012, where they were involved in a nationwide project to overlay the 3G network infrastructure with the newer 4G (LTE) system.

Furthermore, Hesnu held positions at Star Solutions International Inc. (formerly UTStarcom Canada) and UTStarcom, where they worked as an Engineering Specialist from 2004 to 2011. In these roles, they planned, developed, and engineered technical solutions for mobile wireless network infrastructures.

Earlier in their career, Hesnu worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at Schlumberger Information Solutions and SchlumbergerSema NIS. Hesnu provided pre-sales technical support, wrote technical proposals, and was involved in business development activities for energy IT consulting services. Hesnu also worked on various networking projects, including WAN infrastructure design and implementation, VoIP infrastructure deployment, and network integration after corporate acquisitions.

Hesnu Utoro completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, specifically in the field of Computer Science, from Institut Teknologi Bandung. Hesnu pursued this program from 1988 to 1994.
