Julie Dreiling Hiett has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Julie started their career in 1995 at COMCARE of Sedgwick County as a Crisis Case Manager, where they provided crisis intervention and collaborated with healthcare professionals to assist clients with mental illness. Julie then worked as a Case Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, where they matched clients with volunteers and provided supervision.
In 1997, Julie became the Community Education Coordinator at the Mental Health Association of the Heartland. Their responsibilities included facilitating suicide prevention programs, conducting police trainings, and assisting in grant writing. Julie then joined the Johnson County District Attorney's Office in 1999 as a Child Victim Advocate, where they worked with various professionals to ensure sound child case judgments and provided support to families of child victims.
Julie transitioned to Truman Medical Centers in 2001 as the Teen Moms Mentoring Program Coordinator. Julie then became a Solutions Architect before transitioning to Practice Leader and then Practice Director, focusing on consulting for CareManager, Insight, and Addiction Management. Finally, they served as the Senior Director and later the Vice President and General Manager of Population Health.
