👩💻 Katharine Barnett

Katharine Barnett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. 👩‍💻 Katharine is currently working at Netspeak Games as the Director of Production, a role they assumed in September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Game Producer at the same company from January 2022 to September 2022.

In 2020, Katharine worked as a Career Mentor at UCL, where they provided career and recruitment mentoring to other UCL alumni, with a focus on tech, start-ups, diversity, inclusion, and operations. 👩‍💻 Katharine held this voluntary role until September 2022.

In 2021, Katharine briefly worked as an Operations Analyst at Palantir Technologies from August 2021 to November 2021. 👩‍💻 Katharine also worked at Filtered from May 2020 to August 2021, where they held the role of Project Management / Ops.

Katharine took a sabbatical leave in 2020 and traveled through Southeast Asia from January 2020 to March 2020.

From 2017 to 2019, Katharine worked at Filtered in various roles. 👩‍💻 Katharine was the Head of People from July 2019 to December 2019, Head of Implementation from January 2019 to June 2019, Senior Digital Project Manager from January 2018 to January 2019, and Digital Project Manager from May 2017 to January 2018.

Prior to that, they worked as a Content Executive at Fast Future Publishing from December 2016 to May 2017.

Katharine's early work experience includes working as a Specialist Teacher and Tester at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, where they delivered differentiated instruction to children and young adults with various learning difficulties. 👩‍💻 Katharine also worked as a Teacher for the Sutton Scholar's "Numbers" Day at UCL in July 2015.

Katharine Barnett pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy (BA hons) from Birkbeck, University of London from 2010 to 2014. Subsequently, they completed their Master's Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics of Health from UCL, spanning from 2014 to 2015.
