Tony Sheppard

Tony Sheppard has worked in the tech industry since 2004. Tony started their career as the Director of IT at Lodge Park Technology College, before moving on to become the Harnessing Technology Manager (Technical) at Northamptonshire County Council in 2007. In 2010, they took on the role of Educational IT Consultant at GDT, followed by Project Manager at Learning Possibilities in 2013. In 2016, they became Technology Manager at Mobile Guardian, and then Head of Services and Operations Manager at GDPR in Schools in 2017. In 2020, they founded My Data Protection World and took on the role of EdTech Consultant and Privacy Professional. Tony currently works at NetSupport as Information Governance Lead and Presales Consultant.

Tony Sheppard attended St Anselm's College, Birkenhead from 1985 to 1992 for Secondary and Sixth Form. Tony then attended Manchester Metropolitan University-Cheshire Campus. Tony has also obtained three certifications: PrivSec Global November 2022 from GRC World Forums in December 2022, PrivSec Global June 22 from GRC World Forums in July 2022, and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe from The International Association of Privacy Professionals in January 2021.
