Osama Fayed

Osama Fayed has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network engineering. Osama is currently working as a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer L3 at NetWitness since October 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at Orange Business Services, including Security Operations Engineer L2 from April 2020 to October 2021, Senior Network Engineer from August 2018 to March 2020, and Network Engineer from May 2017 to July 2018. Their responsibilities at Orange Business Services included troubleshooting and resolving complex customer faults, providing technical support for Level 1 Specialists, monitoring and troubleshooting networks of various vendors, and managing major incidents with minimal impact on customer's business. Before joining Orange Business Services, Osama briefly worked as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Specialist at Vodafone in early 2017. Osama also has experience as a VIP Technical Support Specialist at TE data from July 2016 to December 2016.

Osama Fayed earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Higher Technological Institute, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Osama has obtained several certifications in various IT and network security areas. Osama obtained the ITIL®4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2019. In March 2019, they became a Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Cloud (JNCIA-Cloud), and also obtained the NSE 1, NSE 2, and NSE 3 Network Security Associate certifications from Fortinet. In December 2019, Osama earned the Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification. Osama further expanded their expertise with certifications such as the F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) and the Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Security (JNCIA-SEC), both obtained in March 2020. Osama has additional certifications in various areas such as cloud administration, network security, and system administration. These include certifications from Red Hat, Microsoft, F5, Zscaler, and Cisco, obtained at different times between 2020 and 2022.
