Kara Silbert currently serves as NB+C’s VP of Human Capital. Her responsibilities encompass the strategic oversight of the employee life-cycle including talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, and retention.
Kara joined NB+C in 2014 as its Talent Acquisition Manager. She was instrumental in the development of several key initiatives for the company including its Learning and Development program, Internship Program, and the creation of several employee engagement programs led by her department. Her accomplishments not only received recognition but also paved the way for her promotion to her current role as Director of Human Capital. Kara’s mission is to promote and maintain NB+C’s reputation for having the best talent and culture in wireless.
Due to Kara’s industry-leading accomplishments, in 2019 she was promoted to NB+C’s Executive Committee. To meet the Human Capital challenges of the dynamic wireless industry Kara brings more than 20 years of experience to her position from industries such as consulting, accounting and finance, and architectural and engineering. These multifaceted roles in Human Resources and Management have given her the expertise instrumental to her successful development and leadership of NB+C’s growing Human Capital team.
Kara received her BA in Political Science from the University of Maryland.
