Bow Abegesah, PMP, CISSP

Bow Abegesah has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They started their career in 1997 as an Aviation Communication Equipment Supervisor in the US Army. Later, they served as a Logistic Operations Manager, responsible for managing logistical operations and providing advisory support on equipment accountability, transportation, budgeting, and logistic system availability.

In 2012, Abegesah took on roles as an Assistant IT Communications Manager and Communications Manager, where they oversaw communication operations, advised directors on information assurance policy, computer network defense, and IT product procurement.

In 2014, Abegesah transitioned to the role of Information Systems Manager, contributing to planning, managing, and securing computer systems and networks in support of global operations. They advised directors and managers on computer information systems policies, planning, and technical matters.

In 2018, Abegesah joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, specializing in cybersecurity. They then joined NikSoft Systems Corporation as a Senior Technical Program Manager, contributing to technical program management.

Currently, Abegesah is employed at Network Designs, Inc. as a Project Manager, utilizing their project management skills. Throughout their career, they have gained certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Bow Abegesah obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education General Studies from Columbia College from 2004 to 2008. They also have additional certifications, including Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute obtained in December 2013, Security Plus from CompTIA obtained in October 2013, and Certified Information System Security Professional from (ISC)² obtained in December 2017.
