Amber Genett Smits is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality revenue and health equity. Currently serving as Supervisor at Network Health WI since May 2019, Amber oversees projects related to the CMS Five-Star Rating System and Marketplace Exchange Quality Rating Systems, while also managing health equity strategies aligned with enterprise objectives. Previous roles include Program Manager and Continuous Improvement and Customer Experience Specialist at the same organization, where Amber received the 2021 Network Health Pathfinder Award for exceptional contributions. Prior experience at Thrivent Financial included senior management positions in product systems, health insurance claims, and contact center support, showcasing strong leadership in diverse operational functions. Amber is currently pursuing a Certification in Health Equity from The Johns Hopkins University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
