Aisha Akhtar

Aisha Akhtar has accumulated extensive work experience in the legal field. Aisha started their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Charnwood Borough Council in 2008 and stayed until July 2009. Aisha then joined Rochdale Boroughwide Housing as a Housing Litigation Solicitor, where they worked until 2010. Aisha's next role was at Manchester City Council as a Housing Litigation Solicitor (Locum) from April 2010 to April 2011.

In 2011, Aisha joined Prince Evans Solicitors LLP as a Social Housing Litigation Solicitor and later was promoted to the position of Associate Solicitor in July 2016. Aisha worked at the firm until September 2017.

Aisha then joined Network Homes in October 2017 as a Senior Solicitor (Litigation & Housing). Aisha held this role until July 2021 when they transitioned to the role of Senior Solicitor (Litigation and Housing) & Legal Practice Manager. From August 2021 to April 2023, Aisha served as the Interim Head of Legal Services & Practice Manager at Network Homes.

In addition to their role at Network Homes, Aisha worked as a Legal Trainer at the Chartered Institute of Housing from January 2019 to April 2021. In February 2021, they also took on the role of Legal Trainer at HQN.
