Glenn Fiedler has worked in the gaming industry since 2001. Glenn began their career as a Senior Programmer at Irrational Games. In 2005, they moved to Team Bondi as a Senior Gameplay Programmer, where they prototyped gameplay and animation systems for L.A. Noire. In 2006, they became the Multiplayer Lead at Pandemic Studios. In 2008, they were promoted to Lead Network Programmer at PlayStation. In 2013, they joined Respawn Entertainment as a Senior Programmer, where they rewrote and optimized netcode and created the holo pilot and hover ability. In 2016, they founded and became President of The Network Protocol Company. In 2017, they founded and became CEO of Network Next.

Glenn Fiedler's education history includes attending Baulkham Hills Selective High School from 1990 to 1995 where they achieved an HSC with a TER of 90.9 in 4U Math. Glenn then attended the University of Sydney from 1996 to 1997, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science. Glenn then went on to the University of Technology, Sydney from 2000 to 2001, where they studied Calculus, Differential Equations, and Operations Research. Lastly, they attended the Australian National University from 2004 to 2005, where they studied Linear Algebra and Calculus.
