Rob Mcintosh

MD, North West & Central Region at Network Rail

Rob Mcintosh is the Managing Director of the Eastern region at Network Rail. Rob has over 25 years of experience in the railway industry.

Rob started their career in 1995 as a graduate trainee with British Rail Engineering Ltd, working on various projects including the design and construction of new railway lines. Rob then moved to Westinghouse Rail Systems Ltd in 2007, where they were Programme Manager for three years. In 2010, they joined Invensys Rail as Vice President of Delivery, responsible for a project portfolio with a turnover of approximately £180 million and 600 staff. Rob left Invensys Rail in 2012 to join Network Rail.

Rob has a degree in civil engineering from the University of Manchester.

Rob Mcintosh reports to Andrew Haines, Chief Executive Officer. Rob Mcintosh works with Rob Morton - Managing Director, Route Services, Tim Shoveller - Managing Director, North West and Central region, and Jake Kelly - Group Director, System Operator.
