Karen Butts

Karen Butts has extensive experience in sales and account management. Karen worked as an Account Executive at Networking Technologies from 2012 to present, where they provided data communications consulting and technical support services to various clients. Prior to that, they worked as a Premier Account Executive at Earthlink Business from 2009 to 2012 and as a Sales Manager and Account Executive at One Communications from 2001 to 2009. Karen began their career as an Account Executive at FairPoint Communications from 1998 to 2001 and previously worked as a Special Events Manager at WQLN Public Broadcasting from 1993 to 1998.

Karen Butts graduated from Mercyhurst University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. Prior to attending Mercyhurst, they attended Venango Christian High School from 1980 to 1984. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a VMWare VOP-SE certification from VMware in August 2019. In March 2018, they obtained several certifications from APC by Schneider Electric, including "Components of a Business Networks Infrastructure," "Managed Service Providers for Sales Associates," "Selling Power and Cooling Managed Services," and "Solutions for the Business Networks Market." In August 2017, they obtained an AWS Business Professional Online certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Other certifications include "Selling Aruba Products and Solutions" from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in April 2017, "NSE 3 Security Sales Associate," "NSE 1 Security Sales Associate," and "NSE 2 Security Sales Associate" from Fortinet in June 2016 and May 2016, respectively. Karen also holds a "Check Point Partner Sales Certification" from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. obtained in October 2015. In August 2014, they obtained various certifications from Hewlett-Packard, including "Advanced Sales Certified Enterprise Server Solutions & Services," "Advanced Sales Certified HP Enterprise Networking Solutions & Services," "Selling HP Converged Infrastructure Solutions," "Selling HP Enterprise Networking Solutions & Services," "Selling HP Enterprise Server Solutions & Services," "Selling HP Networking Solutions & Services," and "SMB Storage - HP Sales Certified." Lastly, they obtained a "VMware Sales Professional (VSP) 5.1" certification from VMware in January 2013, and a "Networking - HP Sales Certified" certification from Hewlett-Packard in September 2012.
