Jean-Paul Sursock

Jean-Paul Sursock is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in fixed income strategy and structuring, particularly within the insurance sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at Neuberger Berman since 2016, Jean-Paul previously held roles as a Fixed Income Strategist at BlackRock from 2013 to 2016 and as Managing Director at Barclays Investment Bank from 2008 to 2013. Prior to these positions, Jean-Paul worked at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch in senior roles focused on structuring solutions for insurance clients. Jean-Paul began a career in finance as a Research Analyst at the National Bureau of Economic Research, where analytics of Medicare expenditure growth were conducted. Jean-Paul holds a Master’s degree in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
