Matthew Bird

Matthew Bird is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience across various financial sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at Neuberger Berman since June 2014, Matthew oversees substantial investment portfolios exceeding $250 billion for a diverse clientele. Previously, Matthew held the position of Vice President at GarMark Partners, where responsibilities included providing mezzanine debt and structured equity capital to middle market companies. Earlier roles included Asset Manager at Seavest Investment Group and Senior Associate at FG II Ventures, as well as a Business Analyst at European Capital Ventures. Academically, Matthew earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree in History and French from the University of Warwick.
