Melissa Daniel

Melissa Daniel serves as a Specialty Finance and Fintech Analyst at Neuberger Berman since October 2023. Prior to this role, Melissa was involved with the Gordian Knot Center for National Security Innovation as a Defense Innovation Scholar within the Defense Ventures Team from January to July 2023. Melissa participated in the Accel Leadership Program, first as a Fellow in 2022 and later as a Course Assistant in 2023. Previous experience includes working as a Neurosurgery Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Medicine from March 2018 to January 2021 and as a Leukemia Research Assistant at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in the summer of 2017. Melissa also competed as a Division 1 Beach Volleyball athlete at Stanford University from September 2018 to February 2020. Melissa holds a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Economics from Stanford University, as well as a high school diploma from Burbank High School, earned in 2018.
