Peter Sterling

Peter Sterling is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in specialty finance and fintech. Currently, Peter serves as the Head of Specialty Finance at Neuberger Berman, where Peter has established the NB Specialty Finance and Fintech platform since 2018. In addition, Peter is a Partner at Outpost Ventures, focusing on venture capital investments within the fintech space. Previously, Peter held leadership roles at Coastland Capital as President and Head of Specialty Finance/Fintech, managing a substantial asset portfolio, and at Cook Street Media, specializing in film finance. Earlier positions include Portfolio Manager at Marin Capital, Executive Director at KBC Alternative Investments, and Derivatives Trader at Gateway Partners. Peter holds a BA in Economics and Psychology from Cornell University.
