Josh Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Josh most recently served as the Senior Director of Infrastructure Services at Neudesic since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Invesco Ltd. from May 2019 to January 2020 as the Lead Solutions Technologist, Architect, LCAR, where they played a crucial role in the OppenheimerFunds/Invesco merger. From July 2015 to May 2019, they were the Lead Solutions Technologist, Architect, ESS at OppenheimerFunds, focusing on defining technical strategies for compliance and legal architectures. Prior to that, they worked at Critigen as a Solution Architect from March 2012 to July 2015, providing competency leadership for Front End Development practices. Josh also served as a Senior SharePoint Architect/Developer at ShareSquared, Inc. from November 2010 to March 2012, providing SharePoint consulting to clients. In their earlier years, they worked at Critigen, SharePoint Experts, Raytheon Polar Services Company, Inc., and Teryx, gaining experience in various roles related to software development, application integration, and consultancy.

Josh Nelson has a strong educational background in computer science and computer information systems. Josh obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Wartburg College, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Master of Computer Information Systems degree at the University of Denver from 2002 to 2004.

In addition to their degrees, Josh has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. Josh became an Azure Administrator Associate through Microsoft in October 2019. In December 2018, they became a Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster. Josh gained expertise in computer security by obtaining the CompTIA Security+ ce certification in December 2013. Josh also holds the title of Microsoft Certified Professional, which they earned in May 2010.
