Matthew Couzens

Matthew Couzens has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in the IT industry. Matthew is currently the Director of Client Delivery at Neudesic. Prior to this, they worked at Xcel Energy as the Director of IT Service Delivery, where they led the Data & Integrations teams in the Customer Experience Transformation program. Before that, they were the Head of BI Data & Analytics for IT at Janus Henderson Investors, where they delivered Data Management and Analytics projects within the BI and Analytics team. Matthew also has experience as an IT Manager at Jacobs and CH2M, where they led projects in business intelligence, data warehousing, and application delivery. Matthew started their career as a Software Developer and Project Scientist at GEOANALYSIS, INC. and later worked as an Associate Scientist at ERM: Environmental Resources Management. Matthew has a strong background in database management, software development, and GIS applications. Matthew holds a research specialist position at the University of Pennsylvania, where they designed experiments and maintained database systems for the Department of Hematology/Oncology.

Matthew Couzens has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Matthew obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2020.
