Mehrdad Pazirandeh

Mehrdad Pazirandeh has over 30 years of experience in database development and administration. Mehrdad started their career as a Programmer/Analyst at CSC in 1985, where they worked on analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging for various subsystems. Mehrdad then served as a Programmer at CSC from 1990 to 1993.

In 1993, Mehrdad joined ANDRULIS Research Corporation as a System Manager/Senior Programmer Analyst, where they managed a team of 10 and provided technical support for the real-time Integrated Management System. Mehrdad also maintained DEC hardware and software and served as a liaison between ANDRULIS and the client.

From 1995 to 2000, Mehrdad worked at the District Attorney Office as a DBA/Senior Programmer Analyst, where they designed, developed, and implemented a new SQL Server database to support a client/server application. Mehrdad also converted data from an Oracle RDB database to SQL Server.

In 2000, Mehrdad joined Ocwen Technology Xchange as a Senior Database Architect/DBA, where they designed and implemented SQL Server 7.0 databases using ERwin data modeling tool.

From 2002 to 2009, Mehrdad worked at AMN Healthcare as a Senior Database Developer and later as a Senior Database Architect/DBA/Developer. In this role, they installed and configured failover clustering, implemented new standards and naming conventions for database development, and set up a "Warm Standby" SQL Server using Microsoft Log Shipping.

Since 2010, Mehrdad has been working as a Principal Database Developer at Neudesic. No specific dates are provided for this role.

Mehrdad Pazirandeh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from National University, which they obtained in 1986. Prior to that, they earned a certificate in Computer Technology from Coleman College in 1983. In addition to their formal education, Mehrdad has also obtained several certifications in data-related fields, including Hands On Essentials - Data Applications, Hands On Essentials - Data Lake, SnowPro Core Certification, and Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse, all from Snowflake. These certifications were obtained between March and May of 2023.
