Philip Emory is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Building Enclosure Testing Lead Engineer at Neudorfer Engineers, Inc., a position held since January 2003, where responsibilities include managing and developing testing methods for building enclosure testing and supervising pressure testing and thermal imaging. In addition, Philip Emory has been a member of the NEBB Board of Directors since November 2014 and acts as the Building Enclosure Testing Committee Chairman and Instructor for the Building Enclosure Testing Certified Professional Seminar. Prior experience includes serving as an Operations Specialist and Petty Officer 2nd Class in the US Navy from January 1976 to January 1981. Philip Emory earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman from 1981 to 1985 and completed secondary education at Mercer Island Senior High School, graduating in 1974.

R.F. Neudorfer and Associates was established in 1970 as a professionally-qualified mechanical engineering and test and balance organization. The firm incorporated in 1980, and the name was changed to Neudorfer Engineers, Inc. Neudorfer Engineers is certified by the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB). We are experienced and skilled at providing air and hydronic systems test and balance services; sound and vibration-level measurement of heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment; cleanroom testing and certification, building commissioning; equipment start-up, field engineering and test engineering. In addition to having achieved numerous NEBB certifications, Bill Neudorfer was the past President of the National Environmental Balancing Bureau. He teaches testing and balancing courses at the University of Washington, College of Engineering Continuing Education program, Testing and Balancing, and Commissioning workshops for the Washington State Energy Office; TAB and Cleanroom courses for NEBB; and has made presentations on Testing and Balancing, Cleanroom Certification, and Commissioning for the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE).
