Christian is a Managing Partner of NeueCapital, and has been working with software companies for more than 20 years. In this period he has led over two dozen investments in the field of enterprise and financial services technology software at various expansion stages.

He was an early investor in leading European software technology companies, such as RedDot Solutions (acq. by Hummingbird/Opentext), mental images (acq. by Nvidia), Quanthouse (acq. by Standard & Poor’s), Aquin (acq. by State Street Corp.), arcplan (acq. by Longview), Saperion (acq. by Lexmark), Tricentis (acq. by Insight Ventures), Dovetail (acq. by Fiserv), Crytek, acrolinx among others.

During his more than 20 active board memberships, Christian worked closely with founders and management on international expansion, growth strategies, and in particular on management team development. In his active board roles, he has facilitated many successful expansion processes of his European investments into the US market. Since the beginning of 2018, Christian serves on the boards of AlgoTrader (CH) and Favendo (GER).

Prior to his life as a venture capitalist, Christian worked in the Equity Research department of Merrill Lynch. He gained a dual degree in business and electrical engineering from the TH Darmstadt, including academic exchange programs in Atlanta, USA, and Zurich, Switzerland.

He splits his time between the USA and Europe, and is a proud father of two children.
